Star of the Week!

This week Myles was chosen as the "star of the week" for his class! He was really excited & so were we! Mrs. Konecni sent home a letter last Friday and asked for 5-10 pictures, Myles favorite book & for Myles to complete a paper about himself. Also, parents were asked to try and come for lunch. So, we got some of Myles' favorite pictures together, which was very hard. He ended up choosing 11, which included pictures from our Braves' trip, Disney Star Wars pictures, baseball pictures, a picture of him & Grayson, a picture of him & Connor wearing Hokies gear, & of course a picture of his best friend, Ted! I was able to go & eat (well visit with him while he ate!) every day this week & Kevin was able to come on Friday. It was a special week for him & us!

Here is the paper he completed. He wrote everything out in PINK & even says that PINK is his favorite color! Must have something to do with his new teacher. He & Ted have both decided that their favorite color is PINK! The paper also says that his favorite book is "Anakin In Action"; favorite movie "Star Wars"; favorite sport "baseball"; wants to be a baseball player when he grows up; he's special because he has a brother (how sweet is that!); born in Alabama; favorite food is "popcorn"; he used to have a pet fish; God is the person he admires the most (precious); and his favorite subjects are "math & science", which he does very well in!!


On Monday, I wasn't feeling well & didn't go to the office so I decided I would eat with Myles. I had my times mixed up & was a few minutes early. I was able to spend time with Myles while he was in the library, which was exciting and a first! He was so excited!

Best lunch date of the week! Myles was so excited that Kevin was able to come & eat with him. I think that it made his week!!!
