Picture from Moo Moo's party

Here is a picture from my mom's birthday dinner at her favorite Mexican Restaraunt, El Giro. Here is Carleigh, Connor & Myles. As you can see, Connor was only interested in the cupcakes!

Opening Day 2007

And we're off. We've started another season of baseball at Mims Park and Myles is on the Sand Gnats again this year! This morning was opening ceremonies and then Myles had 2 scrimmage games. He did really well in both games. The first game he played shortstop and the second game he played pitcher. He hit the ball really well, and on his last at bat he knocked the ball into the outfield. We're so proud of him. Today was the first of many Saturdays that we'll be spending at the park.

Forget the training wheels!

This past weekend Myles took a big step by letting us take off his training wheels. He did so awesome without them. It was quite hilarious to see him riding his bike without them. He can't really brake or turn so he just goes in a straight line. We're sure that it won't be too long before Connor learns how to ride without his training wheels. He has no fear! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Hope everyone has a Happy St. Patrick's Day today. I love this holiday as it reminds me so much of my grandfather Pappy. He always wanted a "green" beer on St. Patrick's Day! We would always dress him up and he looked like your typical Irish man. I'll be thinking about him all day.

The boys wanted to get dressed early this morning so that no one would pinch them. Connor managed to get on every shade of green possible! He also went to my mom's house to make sure her dog, LuLu, had on her green collar!

By the way, Myles didn't find a leprachaun at school, but Myles said the leprechaun did leave his class green juice and cookies while they were on the hunt!

Connor and his frog

As I was uploading my last post, Connor walks in and says "Look at my froggie!". I turn to him and there he is standing in the family room holding a frog. I couldn't pass up the opportunity so I grabbed the camera for the Kodak moment. Oh the joys of having little boys!

More adventures for Flat Stanley

Here are a few of Flat Stanley's adventures from yesterday. He went to Myles' t-ball practice. Connor played with him on the playground and was so rough with him that he (Flat Stanley) now has dirt on his pants!

He's also seen here with Myles and a leprechaun trap. Myles had to make a trap as part of a school project. Myles will be looking for a leprechaun tomorrow at school, and he's really hoping that he finds one!

Out of town visitor

Today we had an unexpected visitor stop by. His name is Flat Stanley and he hails from Marion, Virginia. Our precious niece, Kalyn, sent him to visit us (as a school project) and asked for us to take him on some adventures and to write her back. In a half hour, he has played video games with Connor and gone on a bike ride with Myles and our neighbors, Jack and Sam. Can't wait to see what other adventures the boys take him on over the next few days!
