Myles' first fall ball game!

Myles had his first baseball game Monday night! He was so cute & did really well. He played first base, which he absolutely loves! His team name is the Timber Rattlers! He has to wear black pants this season, which we love because it's so hard to get orange dirt out of white pants ever week! He was super excited to find out he was number 2, which was his number the 2 years he played on the Sand Gnats!

Myles' first at bat of the season! Unfortunately he struck out his first at bat, but he did so swinging! He did foul one ball so he made some bat on ball connection!

Myles before his second at bat. This at bat he did manage to hit the ball! Go Myles go! He hit the ball to the first baseman and got out. We were so thrilled that he hit the ball since this is the year he is transitioning from t-ball!

The cutest thing happened during the game that I was not able to get a picture of. One of Myles' friends, Jake Miller, from Preschool & Summer camp was on the other team. Jake got a hit and while he was on first base, Myles was waving shyly to him & we could see them chatting and laughing. It reminded me so much of how major league players talk to each other if they are friends! I love moments like that!

Next game for the Timer Rattlers will be on the 18th & thankfully it will not be the late game like the one we had Monday night!
