Connor's Graduation Invitation

Here is a picture of Connor's Graduation Invitation. The preschool gave it to us and since I only received one, I used our scanner so that I could put it on the blog. I just loved him in his cap & gown!

Connor's Preschool Graduation

Connor had his K4 graduation on May 15. It was really cute and sweet! The class did a play called "Little Bo Peep" and Connor's part was Jack from Jack & Jill. He picked his part, and it was perfect for him. He was SO cute when he fell down & broke his crown!!!! After his he went and sang the nursery rhymes that went with the rest of the program, and he & Claire sang so loud! I was having some major problems with my camera & missed quite a few pictures that I wanted to take. I didn't realize that Connor would be at the front of the line walking down in his cap & gown so I missed him when he walked by! When Myles graduated, the kids were in line alphabetically so I was expecting him towards the back. But, since he was chosen to be the Bible bearer, he was at the front! We were very sad to see him graduated because his preschool has been so very good to us.

If you look closely or click to enlarge the pic, you can see Connor laying on the ground!

Isn't he so cute?

This is one of my favorite pics of the night. Connor with Nanny & Paw Paw!

Baybears' game

As soon as we returned home from Myles' birthday party, some of our friends called & asked if we wanted to go to a Baybears' game because one of our councilmen had given them some tickets. Of course we couldn't say no & when they told us they had 12 tickets, we asked if Ted could come as well. Never have we had such great seats. We were in the City's suite & were right by home plate. All of the boys loved it! In all, there were 7, yes 7, boys ranging in age from 4-8!

The boys with the free bat that was a giveaway! 7 boys with 7 wooden bats can be a handful!

Field trip~Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo

Myles' only field trip this year was to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo in Gulf Shores. He was so excited to get to ride the school bus. He was waving to all of the passing cars! He had fun at the zoo, too. He was able to hang out with Ted the entire time because of the way the zoo was set up & since the teachers divided the kids up with chaperones.

Myles excited on the bus!

My favorite shot of the day! Myles waving to passing cars!

Myles & his teacher Miss Calhoun!

Let's just say Indy, Indy, and More Indy!

Here is Myles opening his gift from us! As you can tell, he was super EXCITED when he saw what was in the box. Inside was 12 packs of the new Indiana Jones men that we purchased as a set. The men are the same size as the Star Wars men that he plays with. Most of his gifts from family and a few friends were Indiana Jones themed- men & Legos!

Trying to figure out what is inside!

Can !you tell how excited he is!!

New postings are really coming today!

Seriously. I am going to try and get caught up on posting today. I spent most of the week trying to network our desktop computer with our new laptop so I didn't have a chance to make any posts. So now, I'm sitting back, watching some VT softball and udating our page. I'll have to take a break to go watch some Grasshoppers play the Sand Gnats in the first round of t-ball playoffs. Let the marathon of posting begin!

Fun times at Dauphin Island

So today we headed to Dauphin Island to hang out with the Prescott's, who are staying there for the holiday weekend. To say that the boys had a blast is quite an understatement! And needless to say I look like a lobster this evening! Here are 2 of my favorite pics from the day. I learned about a new feature on my camera and ended up taking over 300 pics today. Talk about trying to find my favorites. I'm crossing my fingers that I have more time to post tomorrow because I have so much to post about!

Happy Birthday Myles!!!!

Here are the boys with Myles' present from us. It was 12 of the Indiana Jones actions figures. He was so excited and has been playing with them non-stop!

Wow, I can't believe that Myles is turning 7 today! Time sure has flown by so quickly. He started his day off by receiving a star wars man from Connor. Aunt Kimmie had taken Connor to Walmart yesterday for him to pick out a toy for himself so Connor picked out a 2 pack of Star Wars men. He saved one & gave it to Myles this morning, which was so sweet:) Then he went for a mile run before school. His words to Kevin were "I want to start my seventh year off with a run!" and so he went off around the neighborhood. He took cupcakes to school & said that everyone sang Happy Birthday to him. We had practiced this evening & then he picked out tacos for supper! And, he got to spend some time with Moo Moo, Aunt Kimmie, Grayson & Carleigh. I think he had a great day!

Myles' 7th birthday party!

Here are the boys heading out to Myles' birthday party. Check back tomorrow or later this week for some more pictures from the party. He had a blast, and Kevin and I can't believe that he'll be 7 on Tuesday!

Grasshoppers beat the Storm!

Saturday the Grasshoppers played the only team in the t-ball league that had not been beaten. One team had tied them and yesterday, the Grasshoppers gave the Storm their first loss! We were so excited (to say the least). After the second inning, the Storm had only scored 1 run and in t-ball that is almost non-existent! We were winning 18-6 in the last inning so Kevin let the outfield play in again & we ended up not getting out last bat since we were the home team & we already winning.
Myles hit the greatest hit ever. It was brilliant! There were 2 runners on base & he hit an awesome line drive over the pitchers head that went over second base & ended up at the fence. Myles ended up on home with a home run! He was ecstatic and it was especially nice since he was having his birthday party that afternoon! Way to go Grasshoppers!

The boys getting ready to play some great baseball!

The anatomy of a home run! I think he was pretty much exhausted from running the bases so fast that he could barely slide! He just loves to get the white pants orange!

Connor sliding home...being just like his big brother!

Connor getting ready for a big hit. He has been hitting the ball very well and managed to get a double today!

The Grasshoppers after the BIG win!

Grasshoppers beat the Rockhounds

Thursday night, the Grasshoppers managed to pull off a win against the Rockhounds, who had previously beat us. The boys played well. Since we were the visitors and had a 6 run lead in the last inning, Kevin let the outfielders play in the infield. Connor got to play on third base & pretty much chewed his glove the entire inning. Except for when the ball was hit to him & he managed to make an OUT!!! That's right. Connor made an out, and we were so proud of him. There was a force out on third so he went and tagged the runner!!! Way to go Connor!

Connor's end of the year party

On Monday, Connor's preschool class had their end of the year party at Chuck E Cheese. He had a great time playing games, eating pizza & cake, and running around!

I'm loving this pizza!

Connor with his best friend, Bay!

This is typical Connor! He is such a firecracker! Here he is with his prize from Chuck E Cheese! I LOVE this little boy!

Best Friends

We took the boys to see Ted play some baseball on Friday night. It was really sweet watching Myles watch Ted play. He was really excited when Ted was picked to be the catcher!!!

2 games & 2 losses

Well, this week hasn't been the best for baseball. We have lost two games this week. But, we did have a special visitor come & watch the boys, and his name is Grayson! I found him a really cute baseball outfit, & he looked so cute in it! Connor hit the ball REALLY good at both games & made a great stop in the outfield. Myles made an AWESOME catch at third base and nearly made a double play again. He caught a line drive while playing 3rd base & then threw a rocket to first base since the little boy was off the bag. If our 1st baseman would have caught the ball, it would have been a double play. The boys are really enjoying the t-ball season, and it's hard to believe that the season is halfway over:(
Special visitor at game. Don't you love the
outfit???? Too cute!

Running fast for Grayson!
