PTA Open House

Tonight Myles & Connor's school had Open House. There was a short (well not really short, kind of long) PTA meeting. Then it was off to see the boys' classrooms!

First up was Connor's teacher, Mrs. Smith. He showed us around his room & introduced us to a couple of his friends! I had met his new friends at lunch, but it was the first time for Kevin to meet them! Connor has adjusted very well to school & is having a great time. It really helps that his teacher is GREAT too!!!

Connor is being really silly in the first picture! I'm not quite sure what he's doing! In the second picture, he is showing us his computer skills! He also showed us around to the various centers that are in his classroom and his favorite was the Kitchen!


After visiting Connor's class, we headed over to Myles' classroom to meet up with his teacher Mrs. Konecni. Myles had fun showing us his room & we really loved the library area. This year, Myles is already off & learning so much. He is doing really well in Math & Science. His new favorite color is PINK. Yes, you read right...PINK!! And, he loves reading Judy B. Jones books. Kevin and I think that it might just have a little something to do with his adorable teacher!!!

Myles & Mrs. Konecni~ Aren't they just adorable too??!! (Myles wanted to wear a pink shirt this evening, but the only pink shirt that he has is made of a T shirt material and I kind of wanted him to wear a nicer shirt so when I showed him a lime green shirt with a pink Polo logo, he decided that he would wear that. Of course, he matched Mrs. K's room that is wonderfully decorated with lots of PINK and some lime green accents!)


Here Myles is showing us his reading bag (that was recycled from plastic bottles by the way!) and is also sitting in the library area.


We are extremely happy with both of the boys' teachers. They are excellent! And, we can't wait to see what the rest of the year will like!
