Sneak Peak...

Here are a few pictures from the game yesterday! We all had a blast even though our team didn't win. I have so many pictures from the day, and it will be hard picking out the ones for the blog! I'll try and get them on before the weekend is over.

These are some of my favorites of the boys. They love the Hokies!

We are very thankful that the FSU fans were so nice as we were sitting in their section. There were lots of Hokies fans out yesterday though! It seemed as if there were as many Hokies fans around us as there were Seminoles fans!

Heading to VT game!

Well, little did we know that we would have FREE internet access at the KOA campground, so now we're able to update some pictures! Myles & Connor are super excited. We were talking with Myles this morning and were telling him this is his first football game & his said no that he had been to a game before. We asked when and he said to see Ted, his best friend, play (it was a scrimmage game!). He asked was the VT game going to be bigger and our response was YES!!! I am really looking forward to capturing all the moments on camera! I have a fully charged battery and empty 4G memory card!

The boys in the camper last night after we finished setting up!

The boys in the van! Connor noticed on the ride down that he has a 2nd loose tooth! And, boy is he happy!

Updates soon!

The blog sure has been lacking lately. We've been super busy with soccer & baseball, and I have loads of pictures to add. We're heading out now to go and see Virginia Tech play against Florida State! We're all super excited and this will be the boys first ever football game! Until next time...Go Hokies!

R2 D2 Pumpkin Project

This week Connor was sent home an orange pumpkin to decorate. So we all decided that we would try and make the pumpkin into R2 D2. It turned out so cute too! He had lots of fun painting and adding sequins!

Connor painting & giving me a smile!

Here is the finished project!

Myles has the next school project due. We will be working hard on it this weekend. He has to take a symbol of the US & be creative and make a something. He actually came up with the best idea. I won't tell you what it is just yet, but his symbol will be the military and will honor his Great Poppy, who passed away in June!

Great Muddy

We're having the Great Muddy today. Yesterday we had 2 races for 6 independent teams. They were mostly 5th & 6th graders. I can't believe how much Myles & Connor love helping Kevin with the meet. It is the sweetest thing. I'll be sure to bring my camera today and get some shots of them. Well guess I need to get the boys up and head to the park! And, it's not even day light yet!

Cupcakes!

Here is my first batch of cupcakes! After I saw my friend Rebecca's cupcakes on her blog, they looked so yummy I thought I would try to make some too! Since Christine's (Lauren, Ted & Trent's mom) birthday is this week, I thought it would be perfect to make them for her! They turned out really yummy. It was my first time to make the icing from scratch and use decorating bags.

Baseball again!

What a great game this week! Myles hit his best hit this game. All the way to the outfield! He was so excited and so were we! The game was played in off & on rain! It was nothing more than a drizzle but I wasn't able to get many pictures.

Myles warming up in the batting cage & picture cage with Landon! He's the catcher in the 2nd picture!

So excited to be a Rattler!

Here is Connor during the game. He spends most of his time going to the concessions stand, running around and playing with some new friends! I was able to snap a quick shot of him when he came by for a few seconds!

Fall Festival 2008

We had our Fall Festival at our church on Saturday! Lots of fun was had by everywhere. We had invited 2 families and both were able to come. It's the largest outreach for our church and boy were the crowds there! It was jammed packed! Myles and Connor had a great time and got to wear their costumes, which created a problem that evening. When we came home they didn't want to take them off so they slept in them! They played lots of games, ate carnival foods, played in spacewalks and best of all had a grand time with their best friends!

Here are Boba Fett (a.k.a. Connor) & Obi Wan Konobi (a.k.a. Myles) with an R2 D2 pumpkin!

Who knew Boba Fett could play basketball????

And Obi Wan too? What happened to his mask? I love the second picture of Myles! He's waiting to see if he scored a basket!

Connor on a "redneck" 4-wheeler! He loved it!

Best friends, who are both Obi Wan!

Love Myles in this pic! He was so mad that Connor and Trent wouldn't look at the camera!

My attempt for a group shot of the boys.

A group shot of all the kids! Trent, Myles, Ted, Lauren & Greyton. Greyton is the Prescott's cousin, who came for some fun too! He is 16 months old and the sweetest thing! We introduced him to Dum Dum suckers!

They loved this ride! It spun around and how they didn't get sick remains a mystery to me!

I didn't get a shot of our other friends that came. They have a 14 month old & a 2 year old.

Getting ready for the 2008 Great Muddy Classic!

After Connor's soccer game on Saturday we head to Medal of Honor Park to walk the cross country course. Kevin is putting on a cross country meet called the Great Muddy this Saturday. He has teams from Alabama and Florida coming. It's about 33 teams total. So we spent part of the day making sure the course was clear and sprayed orange on the roots. The boys had so much fun helping.

Here are the boys in action!

Soccer game again!

Another great soccer game for Connor! He just loves playing! No goals this game. Just a lot of great kicks and lots of running. He loves to play mid=field because he loves to run everywhere! Kevin took some more great pictures! We won't be going to this week's game since we're hosting the Great Muddy Class (a cross country meet) and the soccer game is at the same time as some of the races! Next week will be his last game since we're heading to see the Hokies play in 2 weeks!!

Going for the ball!

I love this picture because he's trying to kick the ball as he's on the ground! DETERMINATION!

More action shots!

My favorites of the day! Great shots Kevin!!

After all of that running, Powerade is great!!

Updates are coming!

Wow, so much has been going on that I haven't had much time to update the blog. We've had lots of soccer and baseball and our church's fall festival was on Sunday. This weekend Kevin is putting on his annual cross country meet for middle & high schoolers from Alabama & Florida. So needless to say we have tons to do this week! Please pray that he is able to find some volunteers for the course (especially where the runners cross the entrance way to the park) and that the weather is beautiful! This is the 10th year that Kevin has been putting on the meet! Well, hopefully I'll be able to add lots of pictures tonight and tomorrow night!

Who is who????

We're off to our church's fall festival, and the boys get to wear their costumes. After I took the picture I realized it's kind of hard to tell who is who because they both have masks and they look the same size!
