Braves VS Brewers Game 1

Here we are at our first of two Braves' games. The Braves were playing the Milwaukee Brewers & lost the first game. But, we did get to see C.C. Sabathia pitch, which was a treat in and of itself! And we saw Prince Fielder hit 2 nice homers! Our seats were great...midway between first base & the outfield wall on the ground level. We didn't get a foul ball. In fact, none were even hit close to us! The boys enjoyed the game. Boy was it ever hot!

We made a quick stop at the CNN center on our way to the game, where we made a stop at the Braves Clubhouse store. $150 later, we were ready to head to the game. Both boys got new a new shirt and hat even though they already had some. Myles wanted a McCann shirt & Connor wanted a Glavine shirt (which made mommy really happy:) The good news about our shopping trip was that it was all tax free because GA was having the tax free weekend as well!

One of my favorite TV channels.

We're ready to hit the stadium (yes it was very sunny out!). When we arrived at the game, there was a huge line and when we asked what it was for, we learned that John Smoltz was signing autographs. We decided not to get in line since we really didn't know about it and the boys were ready to get into the stadium!

Once we were in the stadium, the boys wanted to go to the kid's area and play some baseball. There was a nice shaded area for parents so we really enjoyed watching the boys play!

Connor getting ready to hit. For some reason, he had a problem with slinging the bat at first! This was by far Connor's favorite thing to do!

Both boys got "airbrushed" tattoos before the game. Connor wanted #29 for John Smoltz even though he is on the DL! He's also wearing his new cap!

Here is Myles getting his tattoo. He got #16 for McCann! And, he's wearing his new cap too, which he wore to summer camp every day this week as well!

Looking good Stoots' boys!

In front of the Braves' dugout!

We decided to go ahead & get some food before the game started. Myles wanted nachos & Connor decided that he would have some Dippin' Dots (and he wanted the $8 bowl which came with a plastic Braves helmet. At least he can eat his ice cream at home out of it!!!!)

Kevin decided that he would have some pizza!

A little while later, it was still HOT so the boys got some frozen pink lemonade. Anything to try and get them cooled off!

With a Braves mascot, Homer!
This picture says it all. It was HOT!!!!!
