The boys' visit to see Santa!

We took the boys to see Santa at the mall on Saturday December 20th. They loved it! And, they were super excited and were well behaved the entire time! I got some really sweet pictures of them as they interacted with Santa!

Here are both boys!
Myles talking with Santa~He told Santa that he wanted a DS & some GI Joe men!
Myles also brought a note that was left at our house by Santa himself! Myles had broken an ornament & Santa left a note telling Myles how it was okay & how he was a big boy for not crying!

Here is Connor telling Santa he wanted Star Wars toys!

This is my favorite pic of Connor with Santa!

Since they were so well behaved, the boys were treated with a train ride at the mall!

Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday Connor!

We have been SO busy since my last post! We have had 4 basketball games (2 games each); a Christmas Program at school; class Christmas parties; Christmas & Connor's birthday. But, I'm short on time as I spent today visiting my best friend Robin since she is visiting her parents in Tuscaloosa & now we are packing & getting ready as we are set to head to Virginia in the morning to see Kevin's parents. So for now, here are a few sneak peek pictures of what is to come soon. Hopefully I'll be able to update the blog while I'm at the in-laws house! At least I can decide what pictures will make the blog as we travel!~

Connor & Myles wearing their new pajamas on Christmas Eve! They were so excited!

Here they are with their big present from Santa! Star Wars DS!!!! I'm not sure why Myles is wearing the Santa hat, but he wore it the entire day! As soon as Connor saw that Santa left him a new Star Wars costume, off came his pj's!!!

Last but not least, Connor turned 6 on Christmas Day!!!! He was busy opening presents all day long, which is our tradition. What a special day that we had celebrating the birth of Jesus & our son's birth!!! (He was really, really excited to get this Indiana Jones toy! Not that you couldn't tell from his expression! My sweet, photogenic 6 year old!!!!)

Lots of new posts & pictures coming soon!

Birthday Party

Connor went to a birthday party on Saturday at Partridge Farms. He had so much fun, but boy was it very chilly!!! He had lots of fun playing on the play ground, riding the pony & going for a hay ride (but the funny thing was is that there was no hay!).

This is my absolute favorite picture I've taken of Connor with my new camera! I still don't know what I'm doing. I hope to read up on my camera over the holidays!

This was a really neat swing that Connor had a blast on!

Playing on the wooden tractor!

About to go down the pole! He had lots of fun doing this too!

Getting ready to ride the pony! My little cowboy loved it!

My silly cowboy!

Still having fun!

On the hay ride! Boy was he crazy during this!

This is what I get after taking roughly 200 pics over an hour and a half!

Yelling for the dog General Lee that lives on the plantation! Connor loves, loves, loves dogs!

One of the many silly faces I caught at the party!

I absolutely love this Kodak moment that I managed to catch! It only last a few seconds before General Lee ran off again!

School Christmas parties

The boys had their Christmas parties at school on Friday. They were so early because of testing that will be done this upcoming week. Connor's party included making gingerbread houses & making an ornament. Of course there was lots of food as well! Myles' party included making ornaments & playing games. And, he ate lots of treats! I helped each class make a really cute snowman ornament & I also sent some gingerbread cookies as treats. I had never made them before, but I must say that they were the easiest treats I have made so far this year!

Here are a few of the gingerbread cookies that I made!

One of my favorite pics of Connor! He is so photogenic!

Connor's gingerbread house complete with sidewalks!

Myles anxiously waiting to open his gift from Mrs. Konecni

Inside was a mug with his name & a cookie! He used the mug as soon as we came home from school!

Connor's first basketball game of the year!

Connor had his first basketball game on Saturday. He must have watched his brother A LOT the night before because he came out & scored 14 points! Now, he shooting percentage probably wasn't that great because he shot about 50 times!!! We were so very proud of him! He has definitely learned a great deal from his big brother!

Put me in coach! I'm ready to play!

Taking it down the court!

Going for my first ever score while my friend from Zack from soccer looks on!

And, another score!

Love this shot of him!

Great shot of Connor shooting!

I'm open!

Connor had a special visitor watch him play! It's Grayson & he had a blast!

More sweet pictures of Connor!

Myles' first basketball game of the year

Myles had his first basketball game of the season on Friday night. It looks like he picked up right where he left off last year. He scored 10 points! He was so excited! Of course, he was still the smallest player out there even though he is one of the oldest kids! I think that he has the biggest heart out there!!!!

Note: I was using my new camera for the first time inside the gym so some of the pictures are not the best, but they are much better than my previous cameras!

Running out of the tunnel!

He shoots & scores his first basket of the year!

Kevin & I both love these pics! The first one is him running down the court, which is how he runs all the time! Such a long stride!

Love how he is dribbling!

Ready to score some points!

Myles actually played against one of his T-ball team mates, Sean!
