Baseball party!

Myles' baseball team had their team party the Sunday we returned from the Virginia Tech game. Of course we made it back in time. The party was at the baseball field and there was a game of players vs parents, which was fun! The kids had a pizza and cupcake party. There was tons of pizza there! Myles received his trophy, a cute bobble head, and a bright yellow/green baseball! He loves that ball!

Connor got to play too! He is so sweet and cute out there!


And, then this happened!

Precious Connor was trying to catch a fly ball in the outfield (mind you no other kids were trying to catch it, but him) and the ball hit his glove and bounced off & hit his face. The red mark would be the mark of the seam of the baseball. It was so swollen, but he was so tough and went back out there to play so more. He didn't wan the other kids to see him crying! And, this would be the inside of his mouth. It was really black and blue! The bruise starting coming to the outside of his skin after a few days!


We really had a great experience playing fall ball at Westside. Myles learned a great deal and we enjoyed watching him play!
