We found this bug in our backyard on Sunday. It was on Myles' basketball goal. It was about 5-6 inches in length. I have never seen anything like it before. If you know what it is, could you please leave us your opinion (even if we don't know you & you're blog hopping? I do this a lot myself:) Thanks!

I googled locust and then looked at the picture that was on wikipedia and to me that is what it looks like. See if that is what it looks like to you. It is hard for me to tell since yours show the top view and wikipedia shows a side view.
