Friday night we headed out to watch the local minor league baseball team, the Baybears, play some baseball. The boys were really excited, and they had a great time. When we got there we walked around the stadium and took pictures in seats from old ball parks. After that we grabbed some hot dogs, chips & drinks and make our way to our seats. We were so excited when we learned that our choir from church would be singing the national anthem. What a treat. Then we ran into my friend from high school, Leo & his family. It was so great to see him & his boys. After a few innings, we saw Ted's grandpa & he gave the boys a wristband so that they could ride the rides & do the water slide. Well there was a lightning storm a few miles away so by the time we made our way to the rides, they were closed down. We headed to the third base side to watch the game from the patio, and guess what happened. One of the players from the DiamondJaxx game Myles a baseball. He sure is a magnet for getting balls-he must get that from his PaPa Flynn:) He was so excited. The Baybears didn't win, but we sure did see a few homeruns from the DiamondJaxx!
