Baybears' baseball camp 2009

On June 13th, Myles & Connor went to the Baybears' baseball camp. It was the 3rd year for Myles to go & Connor's first year. We were so excited that Connor got to go, but it was so hard & tiring keeping up with both boys. They were in different groups so we were all over the baseball field. To make things harder, it was unbearably HOT. But we made it through the day & had a great time!!

Connor participated in his first Baybears' baseball camp & he had a really good time considering that it was extremely hot! He learned alot & got to hang with his bestie, Trent!

This was at the beginning of the camp. I love this picture!

And the Baybear player wasn't ready for how hard he threw it! Connor received several praises about how hard & accurate he throws! We like to say that he learned from his big brother!!!

Myles at the Baybears' baseball camp!

Myles had a blast at this year's Baybears' baseball camp. This is his 3rd year in a row to go. This year he had a few of his Yankees' teammates there with him and of course, Ted was there! He did lots of drills & got lots of tips. Here are my favorite shots from the day. I took so many pictures & it was really hard to pick out my favorites!

Championship game for the Braves!

Well here are the pictures from the Braves last game. It was the championship game & I'm sad to report that the Braves didn't win this one. They had previously beat the A's 2 times during the season, but it just wasn't meant to be. All the boys had an off day & we sure did hate that it happened during the championship game. But they did have an AWESOME season & went 11-1. They were by far the best t-ball team in the league & are our champions! Connor was very upset that they didn't win, but after it a bit, he was okay!

During one play, Connor was upset & threw the ball harder, faster than we had ever seen him throw it. And the crazy thing about it is that is was incredibly accurate!

The Braves had a GREAT season & we were so sad to see it end. Kevin says that out of all the 4 years we've been involved with t-ball this was by far the best team he had seen/coached. I was so proud of all the boys!

Yankees playoff game against the Cubs!

Here are the pictures from Myles' playoff game against the Cubs. The Cubs, just like the Braves tball team, were undefeated in the regular season. Yankees played a great game, but were not able to pull off a win. Myles had the best game of the season. He did something that he had been practicing all year long & we can't believe he did it his last game & against the best team in the league. He made a DOUBLE PLAY ALL BY HIMSELF!!!!! Here's how it all happened. There was a runner on first base & the Cubs hit a grounder to him. He plays second base so he tagged the runner going from first to second & then he threw the ball to first base to get the runner out. I don't think that we had cheered so loud before! We were all so excited for him & he couldn't quit grinning from ear to ear. And to top things off, he wasn't feeling well & come to find out he had an infection & had to have a baby tooth pulled out 2 days later. Here are my favorites from the game!
