Since Kevin & I love Sugarland, we just had to go back and see them at the Wharf when we heard that they were coming back. Of course, the concert was in the middle of the baseball season so we couldn't order our tickets the day they went on sale because we had to wait & see if we had a game the night of the concert. As you can see, we were free & headed to see them. As you will remember, the last time we went to the concert it was basically a rain out. This time around though, things were very different & we enjoyed a fantastic evening of great music! Here are a few of my pictures that I was able to take. I almost didn't have any pics because the first security guard said I couldn't come in with "that kind of camera". I had my larger lens on so I guess it looked big. Too bad I have no idea how to use it like a "professional"!!!!! So back to the van we went & the entire time I'm thinking of a plan on how to get "that kind of camera" into the concert because I didn't have my smaller Canon with me & I really wanted some pictures. So I decided to take my larger lens off & put my camera in my book bag without a lens so that it looked smaller. Worked like a charm! I didn't take too many pictures because I didn't want the security guard to see me with my camera!!!!
This was taken while we were waiting to get in & before we were told "that kind of camera" isn't allowed! Too bad there are no warning signs or anything like that! Check out the lovely security guard that is in the yellow shirt!
Here is a picture of Billy Currington, the guy who Connor won a signed guitar by!
Love, love, love this picture of Sugarland!
